David is a big believer is self-publishing as it allows composers to keep greater control over their work. As musical landscapes continue to change, David encourages you to embrace this. Publishing in this manner allows David to ensure his scores are fully and completely edited at every step, it allows him to ensure that all of his parts meet specific needs, and that his scores can be delivered quickly and to the highest possible standard (without being covered in pencil marks too). Many of the proof readers and musicians David works with are employed by major orchestras and publishers - it's not about being homespun, it's about being the best.
David has edited scores that have been performed all over the world - including many major international orchestras. An avid reader of scores himself, he is keen for performers to enjoy playing his music - receiving a new score should feel like receiving a gift. David hopes to impart this in the music he makes.
